The Turkish Meteorological Service (MGM) has announced that the weather throughout the country will be partly cloudy, with significant cloud cover in certain areas. According to the latest forecast report, local downpours are expected in the Eastern Black Sea region, the Lakes Region, Central Anatolia, as well as inland areas of the Eastern and Mediterranean regions, with some of these storms potentially being severe.
In addition, a warning for strong winds has been issued specifically for southeastern Anatolia, indicating the possibility of hazardous conditions. The Istanbul Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM) has also reported that a heat wave originating from Africa and the Arabian Peninsula will impact much of the country, particularly affecting Istanbul and surrounding areas.
