Karşıyaka Municipality Collects 1 Ton of Plastic Caps, Providing Three Wheelchairs for Those in Need

The Karşıyaka Municipality has made significant strides in its renewed 'Blue Cap' project, successfully recycling one ton of plastic caps in a short time. The collected caps have been instrumental in acquiring two wheelchairs, which have already been delivered to those in need. Additionally, a third wheelchair, sourced through the campaign, is set to be distributed shortly. Mayor Yıldız Ünsal expressed gratitude to the citizens who supported the initiative, stating, "I thank our residents for their contributions to our campaign, and I invite everyone to become a part of this solidarity movement that transforms plastic caps into hope."
