Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Launches Free Counseling for LGS Preferences

In a bid to support students navigating the High School Transition System (LGS), the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) has announced the creation of free counseling and guidance centers. These centers aim to provide students with the necessary resources to make informed and conscious choices regarding their high school preferences. From July 13 to July 19, students will have the opportunity to visit Preference Tents set up in Kadıköy and Bakırköy. Expert guidance teachers will be available at these locations to offer complimentary counseling services, ensuring that students feel confident in their decisions as they transition to high school. The initiative reflects IBB's commitment to educational support and aims to alleviate the stress often associated with the LGS preference process. By providing access to experienced educators, the municipality hopes to empower students and their families with the knowledge they need to select the most suitable educational paths.
