Haluk Levent Arrested: Assets of Ahbap Association and Suspects Seized

The investigation into the Ahbap Association has entered a new phase as authorities took decisive action against various suspects. Following the recent arrest of Haluk Levent, four individuals were remanded in custody as the inquiry deepens. The authorities have now seized the assets of both the association and the implicated individuals. Earlier, 14 suspects were detained during the second wave of operations linked to the ongoing probe. Their processing at the gendarmerie concluded this morning, after which they were escorted to the Istanbul Courthouse to provide testimony. Of the 12 individuals who testified before the prosecutor, six were referred to the court with a request for arrest. Meanwhile, judicial control was sought for the remaining six. Among those facing arrest is Berkant Acil, Haluk Levent's brother, who is already incarcerated on separate charges. The court ruled on preventive measures, deciding on judicial control for suspects Berk Ulu and Mert Ulu, while granting the arrest requests for the other four individuals. Additionally, all assets of the association and the suspects involved in the case have been seized as part of the ongoing investigation.
